Commentary for I Chronicles 4:39

וַיֵּלְכוּ֙ לִמְב֣וֹא גְדֹ֔ר עַ֖ד לְמִזְרַ֣ח הַגָּ֑יְא לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ מִרְעֶ֖ה לְצֹאנָֽם׃

And they went to the entrance of Gedor, even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

And they went therefore to the approach to Gedor, etc. to seek pasture for their flocks.
